Kitty's not going to be around much longer...

My gorgeous creature, my furry little best friend, my beautiful little critter is 16 years old and is dying of lymphatic leukemia....

Mostly she seems the same, just sleeping more and slightly more fussy about food. She's still jumping up on my lap, running up and down the stairs (she likes to gallop down 2 steps at a time, and then she turns around and looks at me, like "Are you coming??) She still gives me hugs and kisses.

It's hard to believe she's really this sick, but the blood tests really show that her body is starting to shut down, and it won't be too much longer before it's more obvious. Luckily, there are kitty chemo pills that have a very good chance of helping her improve at least for  several more months at least.

My poor pootie.... She's still so alive, seems to have so much life left in her. I'm hoping I get to keep her around a while longer.....  Kit-ten...
